2. Information Architecture: What We Collect
Our platform collects data in two primary streams: business information provided by you (the restaurant owner) and transactional data generated by your customers.
Business Onboarding Information
During your initial setup, we collect essential data required to provide the service. This includes your legal business name, GST/tax identifiers, physical outlet addresses, and contact details (email and phone) for administrators and staff members. This data is used strictly for account management, billing, and providing technical support.
Restaurant Content & Operational Data
As you use the platform, you upload dish names, descriptions, pricing, and images. We archive this content to serve it to your diners via the digital menu. We also store your operational settings, such as opening hours, table configurations, and add-on charges. This data remains your property, and we act as a "Data Processor" to host and serve this information on your behalf.
Customer & Dining Behavior Data
When a diner scans a QR code at your restaurant, we collect anonymized telemetry to provide you with analytics. This includes which items are viewed most frequently and peak ordering times. For restaurants using the ordering system, we collect essential customer details (such as name and phone number) solely to facilitate the fulfilling of that specific order.
3. How We Utilize Your Data
We do not sell your data. period. We use the information we collect solely to provide a better service for your restaurant.
Platform Optimization and Service Health
We use technical logs to ensure that your digital menu loads instantly across all devices. By analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage patterns, we can identify performance bottlenecks and prioritize the development of features that provide the most value to our restaurant partners.
Secure Transaction Faciliation
For restaurants enabling online payments, customer data is utilized to verify transactions, prevent fraudulent activities, and ensure that settlements are correctly attributed to your outlet. We use industry-standard encryption to ensure that sensitive payment information never touches our servers directly.
Business Communication
We use your contact information to send critical system alerts, such as platform updates, security notifications, and billing invoices. We may also send periodic newsletters or tips on how to grow your restaurant business, which you can opt-out of at any time.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
ThinkAI Systems only shares your information with third parties when it is technically necessary to provide the TezCafe service.

We use AWS and Google Cloud for secure data hosting. They are bound by strict data protection agreements and do not have access to your raw business data.

5. Data Security & Sovereignty
Encryption Standards
All data at TezBytes is encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption at rest and protected by TLS protocols during transit. This means that whether data sitting in our database or moving to a customer's phone, it is protected from unauthorized interception.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for the duration of your active subscription. If you choose to leave the platform, we maintain your business archive for 30 days to facilitate an easy return. After this period, you can request a permanent deletion of all your restaurant's data from our production servers.
